V-Kit 01 Vertebroplasty Kit

Indications

V-KIT 01 is indicated for percutaneous vertebroplasty which is a minimally invasive procedure, aimed to improve the patient’s movement capability treating the symptomatic pain and reducing the risk of new fractures, whereby the vertebra is reinforced and stabilized by direct injection of bone cement under fluoroscopic guidance

  • V-KIT 01 consists of the following component:

V-Access Needle

The V-Access Vertebroplasty needle has been developed to perform percutaneous vertebroplasty procedures, which ease the access to the vertebral body thanks to the double sharpening design of the tip. V-Access needles are available in two different models, which are characterized by different tips:

  • the bevel tip needles allow to direct cement flow during injection in combination with the tip design and the indicator on the handpiece;
  • diamond tip V-Accesses have been developed to perform pedicular access and percutaneous positioning.

V-Hp Gun

 The V-HP GUN™ was conceived to be used in vertebral consolidation procedures such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty.

The ergonomic handle, the “screw” injection system, and the low weight, make the VHP Gun™ a user-friendly device.

  • Its high cement injection capacity (15 cc), the quick and safe connections via Luer Lock with the G21 PicoMix™ V (closed mixing system). The device can be loaded with bone cement even if it is mixed in an open mixer: a cone is provided to allow the cement to be aspirated into the syringe, allowing the Luer Lock to be free of any possible cement obstructions.
  • The injection tube, with a 30 cm (12 in) angled tip, keeps the operator away from direct X-ray radiation when injecting cement under fluoroscopy.
  • Thanks to the ON-OFF buttons it is possible to interrupt the flowing of cement with immediate decrease of the pressure.
